Angela LaGreca

Angela LaGreca - is an award-winning comedian and singer, and the regular audience warmup personality for The View - Barbara Walters' hit daytime talk show on ABC-TV. Elle magazine described Angela as "Hilarious…a keen eye for everyday absurdity, matched with a stunning trained voice."

Angela's show is a unique blend of standup comedy, music and impressions. She has played to rave reviews and sold-out shows across the country, and is the winner of six MAC Awards (NYC's "Oscar") for outstanding live performance.

On television, Angela has appeared several times on The View and has been seen on Law & Order, Lifetime's Girls Nite Out, Good Day NY, the NBC mini-series A Woman Named Jackie and Comedy Central. Most recently, she appeared on Pay-Per-View in a comedy special with Mario Cantone and others entitled Goumba Johnny's Slice of Italian Comedy (now on DVD).

She has headlined at Carolines comedy club-NY's premier comedy venue-and performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the Catskills, from Atlantic City to Palm Beach, from San Francisco to Tahiti, and at numerous theaters, clubs, and private functions.

Angela has written and recorded for the new "National Lampoon Radio Hour" with Richard Belzer. She is a weekly contributor to the Star Magazine where she skewers celebrities and their "fashion accidents". Angela is a member of the NY Friars Club. She lives in Manhattan. www.AngelaLaGreca.com
